Answers from Our Veterinarian

We typically schedule appointments between 9am and 3pm on weekdays. This is flexible depending on your needs and our crazy schedule. Texting or the online portal is also a convenient way to make an appointment. Dr. Glass will try to group appointments geographically in order to reduce driving time. Flexibility is really appreciated!

We recognize that emergency situations do arise, and we will do everything in our power to help you during these stressful moments. However, Dr. Glass is our only veterinarian. 

Dr. Glass covers her own calls on weeknights, unless she is out of town or at an event she cannot leave. On weekends, there is a shared call system with the large animal veterinarians of Oxbow Vet Clinic of Bradford, VT and Woodpond Vet Services of Haverhill, NH. 

On Monday mornings, the veterinarians will connect to discuss what was seen over the weekend.  We are also in contact during the weekend to help each other if a situation arises that cannot be handled by one vet alone.

Any time you have an emergency, please call Dr. Glass's cell phone.  The correct pager number for that weekend is provided.  Direct calling my pager will result in delays in care if Dr. Glass is not on call.  If you ever page and don't hear back within 30 minutes, please try again.  Believe it or not, there are pockets in these hills where pages don't come through.  

Payment is due at the time of service.  We can provide you with an estimated cost of routine services before your visit.  We accept cash, check, and credit cards.  In cases of large barns with multiple owners,  we try to make arrangements for payment ahead of time to avoid confusion. You can make a credit card payment online using your patient portal.
